Joe Sill is an Emmy® Award-winning director and world-builder, crafting visionary, escapist worlds grounded in human emotion.

He’s directed cinematic campaigns and experiences for Apple, Nike, NASA, Disney, Cadillac, Google, Formula 1, Blizzard, Warner Bros. Games, and Sphere Las Vegas.

As co-founder of Impossible Objects, Joe helped pioneer real-time filmmaking through Unreal Engine, LED volume production, virtual production, and advanced visual effects workflows — expanding how cinematic worlds are built and experienced.

His narrative work includes the feature film Stray, starring Karen Fukuhara and Miyavi; original sci-fi IP including The Cloud Racer and Autonomous; and the narrative podcast pilot For the Sake of the Children, starring Dulé Hill, which was officially selected for the 2026 Tribeca Festival. His work has also earned recognition from Variety as a Filmmaker to Watch.

Joe has also collaborated with artists including Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Lindsey Stirling, creating cinematic work at the intersection of music, technology, and emotion.
